I run a dog rescue in Horsham and asked Rob to come along last week, to help a couple of our dogs that keep being returned to us from new homes.
He started by getting to know each dog. These are tricky dogs dogs, one fear aggressive from being hurt and the other more dominant aggressive.
With each dog, it took him less than 20 minutes to win them over and start to see improved behaviour, and within 30 minutes, they loved him, allowing him to touch and handle them much more than I've ever seen!
This man knows dogs so well, gets into their heads and helps them in a way I've only ever seen with horse whispering - it was amazing!
One dog has now been re homed again, and rob is helping her to adjust to her new home.
The other dog, we are working with and seeing improvement. Thank you so much Rob.
They grew up together; the spaniel is 8 years old, and the Chinese Red Dog is 18 months old.
Issue: They fought, and afterwards, the Spaniel was terrified of CRD, and CRD turned nervous at the same time, causing reactivity issues outdoors. An absolute nightmare to live with.
"Totally the best trainer you could ever imagine. Rob puts the dogs first, their health and well-being his main priority"
Issues: Biting the wife, reactive outdoors, separation anxiety, and starts fights with our other dog.
"Rob doesn’t shy away from difficult cases and is absolutely determined to help you and your canine. He goes the extra mile and is accessible when you struggle and feel stressed. Super guy, a rare find. We are so pleased we got his help instead of rehoming one of our dogs."
